If you visit this blog more often than I do, you likely have noticed that it now looks pretty different. I’m testing a theme that is currently in the development processes and decided to throw it up here to get a more realistic look at it in a non-dev setup.

The purpose of the theme is to act as a basic groundwork for child themes, but can also be used on its own. As we have seen in the WordPress world, some themes that are built to be parents of child themes look great, if this was 2007. It is also heavily commented and provides a lot of areas for actions and filters to be used to modify the default behavior without needing to actually child-theme it. This way, you can use the regular version of the theme and modify things via custom code in a plugin.

As you can see, the theme is totally perfect and 100% amazing. Or not. No, it’s still in development and things are frequently changing. Throwing it up here just helps me find things that need to be fixed. In other words, expect things to change.

At some point, I plan to get back to regular posting. I have a lot of stuff going on right now so my site/blog has taken a backseat. Eventually, I’ll move it back to the front. Or at least move it from the third row to the middle.
