Relaunching a blog

Now that blogs are dying, I figured it would be a good time to bring mine back to life.

These days, I do quite a lot, so boredom isn’t really something I’m ever afflicted with. When I’m not working, I’m working. Even when I’m asleep, I’m working. Don’t be surprised if one day I explode and still somehow have brain activity.

With so much to do, why am I restarting my blog? It hasn’t been around for years. The last thing I was talking about was how I cured my son of his fear of Momo, and my prediction that every network would eventually have its own streaming service. In some cases, people are paying more for a handful of streaming services than they ever paid for the cable they cut.

I said that back when Disney+ was launching, and clearly, I was right.

This post isn’t to talk about my obvious side occupation as a prophet. It’s to talk about the relaunch of my blog. So what am I doing with it?

I’m refocusing my content to better reflect what I do these days. I have a long history of working with web development, WordPress, web hosting, and a variety of other topics in my personal toolbox. It only makes sense to bring it all out here.

I also live in a rural area, which comes with its own set of unique goings on. With so many tech people moving out of big cities, let my posts provide insight on whether you should jump into rural life or not.

Hint: If you can’t handle the sounds of frequent backyard shooting, the musical song of chickens screaming their heads off at all hours of the night, and the aroma of more cows than you knew existed, this probably isn’t the life for you.

So feel free to read whatever tickles your fancy on site. Or visit another site that you like better. Whichever makes the most sense for you.

Unless you have DirecTV DSL, in which case you may have already finished the Internet.
